Birdia product page (in beta) · reviewed 12 Oct 2026
Birdia (our product, in beta) has a setup coach that talks to you before the swing: it checks knees, posture and stance and gives you one spoken correction, or confirms your setup is good. At the range you run it hands-free ("ready", "wait", switch club) or with a Bluetooth remote. It speaks English, Spanish and German.
What Birdia does for this
One correction per address, the most important one, never a list; if the same one keeps coming up, it changes its tone like a teaching pro would.
It celebrates when you fix what it just told you: the correction closes within the same practice session.
Voice commands: "ready", "wait", "next", "repeat", "stop", plus switching club, camera view or stroke mode.
Trigger recording with a Bluetooth remote or the volume button.
After each swing, chat with the coach about that specific swing.
Birdia doesn't measure it with the camera: it suggests it as a likely cause according to the doctrine
What it looks like
Down-the-line: a rounded back with the shoulders slumped forward, or over-flexed knees with the weight in the heels; the spine angle can't be sustained.
What it does to the ball
It limits the shoulder turn and forces compensations: inconsistent contact and lost distance with every club.
How to fix it
Hip hinge with a stick along your back: three contact points (head, mid-back, sacrum) and bend only from the hips

Hold an alignment stick against your back touching head, mid-back and sacrum. Hinge from the hips, keeping all three contact points, until you reach your golf posture. Drop the stick, take your grip, and hit a ball keeping that back.
The setup coach only speaks when it's confident in what it sees: if the camera can't see all of you or isn't in the view it needs, it stays quiet. Its thresholds are deliberately cautious and still waiting to be validated against swings labeled by teaching pros. It speaks English, Spanish and German; other languages aren't there yet.
The web app runs at golf.birdia.app. The Android and iPhone apps are in beta: sign up and we send you an invite.
Frequently asked questions
Which golf app talks to you while you practice?
Several apps give spoken feedback after the swing. Birdia also talks to you before it: a setup coach checks your knees, posture and stance at address and gives you one correction. And at the range you run it by voice or with a Bluetooth remote, without touching the phone.
Which voice commands does Birdia understand?
"Ready" to go ahead, "wait" or "not ready" to discard what it has picked up so far, "next", "repeat", "stop", and "switch to" followed by the club. You can also change camera view or stroke mode.
Which languages does it speak?
English, Spanish and German, following the app language.
How much does Birdia cost?
There is a free plan. Premium costs €14.99/month or €99/year and Pro-IA €29.99/month, VAT included. Payment happens only inside the app, through the App Store or Google Play. Birdia is in beta.
